Up North Energy uses an advanced, very expensive infrared camera to measure the heat emmitted by objects. Our FLIP camera takes over 10,000 temperature measurements in each and every photo. This extremely high seolution camera allows us to accurately measure the temperature of any object: By measureing the energy emitted by any and all objects, we are able to detect and measure the minor temperature differences. This information allows us to determine heat loss in homes and the condition of certain electrical components.
